Company DescriptionJob Description
  • Preparation of structural calculation reports, design calculations using Excel and other in-house software, and analysis of load transfer mechanisms.
  • Excellent technical skills in the design for Concrete and steel structures.
  • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with the other disciplines.
  • Leading a team of engineers and CAD technicians as per project requirements
  • Able to provide technical support to the project team and managing the projects independently.
  • Experience in complete life cycle of a design project within Water and Wastewater environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose alternative solutions for encountered issues.
  • Familiarity with international codes, including Eurocodes, American codes, Australian standards, and British Code of practices.
  • Able to work effectively in a diverse team spread across various geographical locations.
  • Familiarity with various software packages, ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Robot, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAFE, with a preference for experience in Finite Element Analysis.
  • Strong understanding of safety in design and related practices
  • Performs and ensures quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible to adopt new challenging tasks as per business requirements.
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status will be advantageous.
Qualifications
  • Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK).
  • 7 to 12 years of experience as a structural design engineer, preferably with a focus on water and wastewater-related design projects.
