Job Title: Senior Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing structural calculation reports, design calculations using Excel and other in-house software, and analysis of load transfer mechanisms.

  • Preparation of structural calculation reports, design calculations using Excel and other in-house software, and analysis of load transfer mechanisms.
  • Excellent technical skills in design for Concrete and steel structures.
  • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with other disciplines, leading a team of engineers and CAD technicians as per project requirements.
  • Provide technical support to the project team and manage projects independently.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose alternative solutions for encountered issues. Familiarity with international codes, including Eurocodes, American codes, Australian standards, and British Code of practices. Able to work effectively in a diverse team spread across various geographical locations.

Familiarity with various software packages, ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Robot, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAFE, with a preference for experience in Finite Element Analysis.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • 6 to 9 years of experience as a structural design engineer, preferably with a focus on water and wastewater-related design projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose alternative solutions for encountered issues.
  • Performs and ensures quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible to adopt new challenging tasks as per business requirements.
