The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to join the foundational team and
lead the quality engineering function
for a product built from the ground up. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be a foundational leader of our quality efforts, responsible for defining our test strategies and ensuring our web and mobile applications meet the highest standards of reliability. You will not just execute test plans; you will
own the quality standards
and champion our "quality over agility" culture by blending expert manual testing with a strategic vision for automation.

What You'll Do

• Lead the overall test strategy
  for our web ) and mobile (React Native) applications, defining the right mix of manual and automated testing.
• Architect and lead the development
  of our test automation framework, making key decisions on tools and implementation.
• Perform hands-on, expert-level
  manual and exploratory testing
  for complex user flows and edge cases that automation can't cover.
• Mentor and guide
  developers on quality best practices, fostering a culture where everyone is responsible for quality.
• Write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, and work with the team to integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and execute the strategy for
  non-functional testing
  , including usability, performance, and security testing.

What We're Looking For

• A proven track record in
  both manual and automation testing
  , with extensive experience defining test strategies and processes.
• Deep expertise in manual testing methodologies, including exploratory, usability, and regression testing.
• Strong programming skills for test automation (
  Python is a strong plus
  ) and experience building test frameworks.
• Expertise with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) to validate backend services.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring other engineers on quality best practices.
• A meticulous eye for detail and a passion for advocating for the end-user.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
