Summary

The Solutions Architect – Hybrid Cloud is a highly motivated, skilled resource who embraces an

entrepreneur approach with a strong work ethic. This position primarily focuses on solving

business challenges for ConvergeOne's customers with Outcome Based solutions that includes

strategic products and services. The position is responsible for assessing customer needs and

tailoring customized solutions that are moderate to complex in nature to fit business needs.

The Solutions Architect is well versed in all market offerings in their area of expertise and works

closely with the account team to ensure full accuracy of the solution design during the lifecycle

of the sale. Additionally, this position can explain, position, and justify costs related to

ConvergeOne's solutions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of documented corporate IT experience in Datacenter solutions is

required

• Solid experience in Hybrid Cloud Compute Technologies (Cisco, Dell , HPE, etc.)
• Solid experience in Hybrid Cloud Storage Technologies (Dell, Pure Storage, HPE.)
• Solid experience in Hybrid Cloud Networking technologies
• Solid experience in Data Protection technologies (Air Gapping, Traditional Backup Solutions,

etc.)

• Solid experience in Virtualization Technologies (VMware, KVM, Microsoft)
• Solid experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Candidate must also have excellent communication, interpersonal, troubleshooting and

customer service skills

• Additionally, the candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple

projects at once

• Proactive approach to organization and problem solving
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Certifications or equivalent experience in area of focus
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction resulting in an accurate solution

architecture for the client

• Accustomed to working in virtual office environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical

concepts to diverse audiences, including executives and technical teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess customer

requirements, identify solutions, and address challenges effectively.

• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management,

engineering, and sales operations

• Ability to effectively articulate ideas to both technical and non-‐technical audiences

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Serves as the subject matter expert in key areas of Hybrid Cloud Solutions (compute,

storage, switching and Virtualization) with a broader background in integration between

public clouds.

• Analyzes customer needs, issues, and interests to formulate a strategy that will achieve

business objectives

• Provides solution consulting, technical design, and sales support for account opportunities
• Provides live demonstrations for customers and sales teams
• Develops and maintains technical competency and related certifications for core products

and solutions areas

• Provides Customer facing presentations to customers, user groups, and conferences as

required

• Keeps current on industry changes, participate, when possible, in organizations directly

involved with SME products and services, and continually works to improve techniques and

sales knowledge

• Provides timely and accurate deliverables to customers including statements of work and

product designs

• Works with customers to align technology to their business opportunities and needs in

context of their Hybrid Cloud strategy

• Assists in delivering consulting engagements, working with distributed sales teams along

with deployment team members

• Designing Endpoints such as Laptops, MiniPCs, and Desktops

Provides ownership of Technical Solution Deliverables. These could include:

• Participating in Discovery and Documentation of Business Requirements
• Collaborates with other technical resources for creation, review and evaluation of Bill of

Materials, 3rd Party Quotes and SOW, Services, Infrastructure Requirements

• Owning Statement of Work Language Gathering from other resources and Assembly of SOW
• Participating in Solution/Delivery Assurance and Services Handoff Meetings
• Prepares technical designs using manufacturer design tools for product area of focus
• Ensures productive relationships with manufacturer technical peers
• Demonstrates command of the Hybrid Cloud technologies and other ecosystem solutions
• Masters a deep technical knowledge and possesses the communication skills and

organizational agility to guide customers through Hybrid Cloud integration projects and

must also be able to perform the hands-on technical solution design work on his/her own

• Identifies solution system interfaces, constraints, scope, cost, risks, and value
• Utilizes knowledge of architectural design and documentation
• Stays up to date with Hybrid Cloud technologies (compute, storage, Hybrid Cloud switching

and Virtualization)

• Stays up to date with Hybrid Cloud manufacturers programs and promotions including

Cisco, Dell, PURE, Veeam, HPE, AWS
