If you're applying for this role, you'll be working directly with me - Rashmit - the co-founder of GG. I've built this brand from scratch alongside my partner, so working with me is going to be 1) a great opportunity to learn and grow since we are a growing company, but also 2) difficult. We are a budding start-up currently at 3 outlets, aiming to grow responsibly at 50% per year in terms of outlet count. We don't have the luxuries of big corporations since we are completely bootstrapped thus far. What all of this means is that my partner and I work day in and day out, and while we don't expect our team mates to do the same, our team ends up having to work harder and longer than they would have to at a cushy 9 to 5 at an established MNC. While your workdays are limited to 6 per week at 8 hours a day, you can expect some late evenings and occasional weekend runs during campaigns or outlet launches or field marketing events. I might change priorities multiple times a week because that's how fluid things are in a growing organization. I'll be more focused on your output more than fancy presentations, and I definitely won't have the time for excessive handholding. You're expected to take initiative here.

Whether that's the downside or the upside is for you to determine. You're getting entry into a company that is still in its early days. So, if you stick with us and you show us your capability, the ceiling is indefinite. As early marketing members, you could see yourself growing as team leads, marketing managers, and beyond.

What am I looking for:

I'm looking for a "Marketing Associate" but this is basically a founder's office role of sorts; you'll be working on everything that I'm working on, pretty much. Here's some examples of what we'll be doing:

• Ideating campaigns, collaborations
• Handling social media
• Running paid campaigns end-to-end
• Tracking campaigns, creating dashboards, cleaning data, and acting on insights
• Rolling out hyper-local marketing initiatives (example is our hit Truly Local collab series)
• Coordinating & executing shoots, creators, partners, freelancers (from chefs to managers to videographers & models, you'll be working with a wide variety of people)
• Tracking campaign-level and store-level performance

Personality traits that would make you a good fit:

• You have a bright mind, unconventional thinker, not afraid of going against the grain or standing out in a crowd
• You're a quick, eager learner
• You're mission-aligned: if you can showcase your commitment to sustainability and/or plant-forward eating, that'll go a long way
• You're organized, timely, and responsible; if you think it's okay to show up 15 minutes late to a meeting, don't apply
• You're low on ego, high on accountability (i.e. you admit mistakes fast & learn from them)
• You're a self-starter (while tasks will be assigned to you, where appropriate, you move without waiting for permission)
• You have strong communication skills (you need to be comfortable talking to people and pitching what we do to people)
• You're detail-oriented (not a perfectionist, but careful and observant; I'll handle the perfectionist side of things)

How will I measure your performance?

• Engagement on social media (not followers)
• CTRs on ads
• Brand-wide ROAS, campaign-specific ROAS
• Behavioural feedback
• Other metrics as informed to you

Technical skills & qualifications you'll need to have or acquire:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Design, or related field (not necessary, but if you've learned the basics, it'll help)
• 1-2 years of experience is a plus
• Meta Ads, Google Ads
• Wordpress
• Canva
• Google Sheets/Excel
• Basic data handling
• Basic video editing

Work hours: 8 hours a day, 6 days per week

Compensation range: 3-6 LPA depending on experience (this is still an early team, open to freshers with growthh potential, bootstrapped company)

Location: Mumbai, Hybrid (mostly on-site at any of our locations; WFH on non-meeting days)
