Role & responsibilities

Preparation of assembly work.

Check order documents for completeness, determine availability of parts and materials, call up parts and materials, report shortages.

Coordinate the assembly process with other assemblers. Assemble parts and materials according to specifications, visually check for identity and errors. Provide testing and assembly equipment, change over according to specifications, adjust if necessary.

Assembling assemblies / products

Assemble assemblies, products, units (e.g. household appliances, power tools, gearboxes, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic control units) with larger assembly contents.

Rectify defined faults, report faults that cannot be rectified by themselves and pass on information about possible causes of faults to the specialist department.

Carrying out quality assur-ance

Check the functionality, quality parameters and completeness of the respec-tive assembly contents on the basis of test instructions. Document test re-sults, report quantities.

Identify defects in assemblies, products, units (e.g. tolerance deviations, failure, incorrect parts, condition, leakage). Eliminate defects either by re-placing parts or readjusting etc.

Record defects by type and frequency. Suggest remedial measures. Identify weak points in the assembly sequence, make suggestions for improvement.

Carrying out care and maintenance work

Carry out maintenance and cleaning work according to plan or as required

Preferred candidate profile

  • Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in assembly operations
  • Experience in Gear Pump Assembly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Availability: Immediate joiner preferred or able to join within 1520 days
