Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using
    Java (Spring Boot)
    .
  • Build and optimize
    forecasting and time series data pipelines
    .
  • Work with
    PostgreSQL
    for data storage, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Develop APIs and integrate with frontend and external systems.
  • Handle data modeling, query building, and processing using
    JDBC Template
    and SQL.
  • Collaborate with data and frontend teams to deliver forecasting features end-to-end.
  • Debug, optimize, and ensure high reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with
    Java Spring Boot
    and
    RESTful API
    development.
  • Hands-on expertise with
    PostgreSQL
    and complex SQL queries.
  • Solid understanding of
    JDBC Template
    , transactions, and performance tuning.
  • Experience working with
    time series data
    or forecasting-related systems is a big plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work
    independently
    on backend logic.
  • Familiarity with
    Git
    ,
    JIRA
    , and agile development practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    microservices
    ,
    Kafka
    , or
    Redis
    .
  • Familiarity with
    cloud deployment
    (AWS/GCP).
