Job Description: Senior Java Backend Developer

Experience: 5- 8 years

Location: Mumbai

Mode: 6 month + ext.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team in Mumbai. This role requires extensive experience in building robust, high-performance applications using Java and the Spring framework. Given the nature of the project and team structure, proficiency in the Japanese Language is highly preferred. The position is an immediate requirement, offered on a 6-month minimum contract, with a hybrid work model (2 days in the office).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency applications using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD Pipelines to ensure efficient deployment and testing of backend services.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
  • Ensure the performance, scalability, security, and responsiveness of the applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members, maintaining high standards of code quality.
  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, focusing on fast delivery and high quality.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Total Experience: 5 to 8 years.
  • Relevant Experience: 5+ years in backend development.
  • Primary Skills:
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java development.
  • Deep experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Solid experience with setting up and managing CI/CD Pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Highly Preferred: Japanese Language proficiency (read, write, or conversational) for team collaboration and project requirements.
  • Secondary Skills:
  • Strong analytical and data skills.
  • Experience with SQL or data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹130, ₹150,000.00 per month
