Role Overview

The Field Loan Officer will be responsible for identifying potential borrowers, assessing loan applications, conducting field visits, and ensuring timely repayment. The role requires strong communication skills, field mobility, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and enroll eligible clients for microfinance loans.
  • Conduct field visits to verify borrower information and assess creditworthiness.
  • Explain loan products, terms, and repayment schedules to clients.
  • Collect required documents and complete loan application formalities.
  • Monitor loan utilization and ensure timely collections/recovery.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with clients and community members.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit daily/weekly reports to the branch manager.
  • Resolve customer queries and support clients throughout the loan cycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 12th pass (Graduation preferred).
  • Experience in microfinance, banking, or field sales (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned areas.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, mobile apps).
