About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced 
Senior Web Developer
 with deep expertise in 
Shopify
 and 
WordPress
 to lead the development and optimization of eCommerce and CMS-driven websites. You will work closely with design, marketing, and back-end teams to build high-performing, scalable, and user-friendly digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of custom themes and plugins for Shopify and WordPress platforms.
  • Customize and extend Shopify (Liquid, Polaris) and WordPress (PHP, Gutenberg) functionalities.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and apps for both platforms (e.g., payment gateways, CRM, inventory systems).
  • Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility and design accuracy.
  • Manage website deployments, updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide code reviews.
  • Stay current with web technologies and platform updates (e.g., Shopify 2.0, WordPress core changes).

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in web development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in 
    Shopify (Liquid, Storefront API)
     and 
    WordPress (PHP, ACF, WP-CLI)
    .
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue is a plus).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and headless CMS architecture.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of eCommerce best practices and SEO principles.
  • Experience with performance optimization and security hardening.
