Job Details

This role is responsible for supporting on all aspects of Occupational safety and Health. He Will be responsible for Handling end to end of Vendor and Contract safety ecosystem and to sustain the safety practices in line with management systems (ISO 45001 and TSHMS)

Job Requirements

Education

Graduate & ME In Safety / Advanced safety diploma in RLI/CLI

Relevant Experience

1 to 2+ years

Behavioral Skills

  • Clear and concise communication to ensure safety procedures are understood
  • Working effectively with others to ensure a safe work environment
  • Problem solving: Quickly identifying and addressing safety issues
  • Compliance with state and central legal requirements.
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to safety

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of chemical, electrical, and mechanical safety protocols
  • Contractor safety management system.
  • Compliance with state and central legal requirements.
  • Lift safety requirements.
  • Sewage treatment plant (STP) and effluent treatment plant (ETP) safety.

Job Profile:

  • Responsible for supporting the implementation of safety management programs in the corporate office.
  • Essential to conduct hazard identification, risk assessment, and minimization measures in accordance with standards.
  • Perform safety inspections to observe physical work conditions and practices, initiate actions to remove unsafe conditions, and prevent unsafe actions by the workforce.
  • Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders on statutory and legal requirements related to occupational health and safety (OHS).
  • Organize safety campaigns and other activities to develop and maintain interest in establishing and adhering to safety procedures.
  • Manage the safety alert card system to capture near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, engaging all categories of employees in safety management.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary firefighting measures.
  • Proficient in data compilation, interpretation, analysis, presentation, and management reporting.
