The Role

INNOVERV is seeking an experienced and dependable HR Person to partner closely with our leadership team and oversee the full spectrum of people operations in a dynamic IT consulting environment. This is a midsenior level role that blends strategic business partnering with hands-on execution, requiring a professional who is both senior enough to influence decisions and practical enough to roll up their sleeves. You will play a critical role in building a high-performing, engaged, and compliant workforce, ensuring HR initiatives are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced consulting environments, has deep HR expertise in IT services or technology, and is known as a completer-finisher someone who sees every task through to the finish line with precision and reliability.

Key Skills

• Proven HR leadership with the ability to balance strategic priorities and day-to-day execution.
• Strong business partnering capability with consulting or technology delivery teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of HR operations, employment law, and compliance in India (global exposure preferred).
• Experience managing talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement programs.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to operate with complete discretion and integrity.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust across diverse teams.

Preferred

• Prior experience in IT consulting, technology services, or professional services firms.
• Exposure to global or distributed team environments.
• Experience driving organisational change or transformation projects.

Core Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, aligning HR strategies with business goals.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment for midsenior technical and consulting roles.
• Drive annual and mid-year performance cycles, salary revision, and leadership development.
• Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives that build morale and team cohesion.
• Manage payroll inputs, benefits administration, and build HR systems.
• Ensure legal and statutory compliance across all employment matters in India and other operating geographies.
• Partner with delivery heads and project managers to support resourcing and workforce planning.
• Monitor and report HR metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership.

Your Profile

• 12 to 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in IT consulting or technology services.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels.
• Strong operational grasp with the ability to manage multiple priorities to completion.
• Track record as a reliable, detail-oriented completer-finisher in delivering HR programs.
• Experience working with senior leadership in high-pressure environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and influence skills.
