We are seeking a dedicated Special Educator to join our team. You will be responsible for assessing student needs, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and adapting the general curriculum to accommodate various learning disabilities (including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other developmental delays). You will work closely with parents, general education teachers, and therapists to create a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessment & Planning: Assess students' skills to determine their needs and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with specific, measurable goals.
* Instruction: Plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each student's abilities; teach socially acceptable behavior and daily living skills.
* Curriculum Adaptation: Modify the general education curriculum for special-needs students based upon a variety of instructional techniques and technologies.
* Collaboration: Meet with parents, counselors, and administrators to discuss student progress; co-teach with regular education teachers to support inclusion.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete student records, progress reports, and compliance with all state/federal regulations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
* Valid State/National Special Education Teaching License/Certification.
* Experience working with children/adults with special needs (specific diagnosis experience can be specified here, e.g., ASD).
* Knowledge of IEP development and special education laws (e.g., IDEA).
- Speech Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist)
Purpose of Role: To diagnose and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, helping them communicate effectively.
Job Summary:
We are hiring a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You will evaluate and treat clients with communication disorders, ranging from articulation and fluency issues to complex language processing disorders. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to help clients achieve functional communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
* Valid State License and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or equivalent national certification.

* Proficiency in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is a plus.
- Occupational Therapist (OT)
Purpose of Role: To help individuals develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working, focusing on physical, sensory, and cognitive independence.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to help our clients participate fully in their daily lives. You will work with individuals who have conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling. Your focus will be on "occupations" of daily life—from self-care (dressing, eating) to school performance (handwriting, focus) and play.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluation: Assess clients' physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to determine their functional levels and barriers to independence.
* Intervention: Develop therapeutic programs to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, hand-eye coordination, and daily living skills (ADLs).
* Sensory Integration: Design and implement sensory diets and environmental modifications to help clients regulate their sensory systems.
* Equipment Recommendation: Advise on and teach the use of adaptive equipment (e.g., pencil grips, wheelchairs, sensory aids) to replace lost function.
* Documentation & Review: Regularly evaluate progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary, and maintain precise clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Valid State License and National Board Certification (NBCOT).
* Strong background in Sensory Integration (SI) therapy is often highly valued.
* Ability to lift and move clients/equipment as needed.
