About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Competitive Intelligence professional to join our team in Bangalore. This role is essential in driving our understanding of the competitive landscape and delivering actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. As a Competitive Intelligence professional, you will conduct in-depth research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking to enable us to stay ahead in the market and sharpen our competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:

Market & Competitive Research: Conduct extensive research on competitors, market trends, and industry developments to provide timely and relevant intelligence.

Competitor Analysis: Analyse competitor products, services, and go-to-market strategies, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

Data Collection & Synthesis: Gather data from multiple sources, including public domain information, third-party research, and internal analytics, to create comprehensive reports.

Insight Development: Transform raw data and research findings into actionable insights that inform product marketing strategies and help define positioning.

Reporting & Presentation: Develop and deliver concise, visual reports and presentations to stakeholders, including executive leadership, to communicate key findings and recommendations.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Product Management teams to align competitive intelligence efforts with business objectives and contribute to sales enablement.

Trend Monitoring: Regularly track industry news, market developments, and competitor activities to anticipate shifts in the competitive landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or business analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and create clear, actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in research and competitive intelligence tools and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling reports and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Sales, and Product teams is a plus.
