As an Lead Intelligence Analyst -Deep and Darkweb Desk, you will join ZeroFox's Intelligence Team: a group of analysts who dedicate themselves to protecting customers and their assets from digital and physical security threats. With our proprietary hybrid intelligence platforms and methodologies, you will utilize your collection, analysis, and scripting skills to identify threats and generate intelligence to assess risk to our customer base. Threat intelligence activities include tracking current and emerging threats covering cyber crime and various forms of malicious exploitation. If things like the dark web, analysis, and cyber sleuthing are exciting to you, we want to talk to you Discretion, teamwork, and creativity are a must.

Requirements

  • Manage a team of 4-5 Intelligence analysts, train and manage deliverables
  • Strong leadership skills with a desire to mentor and train junior members, and guiding their professional growth.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with a blended team of domestic and onshore teams.
  • Support ad hoc, client-specific requests
  • Tailor and deploy processes and tools, review deliverables, and establish weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics.
  • Support and ensure intelligence is gathered from diverse sources, including open-source, commercial, and internal feeds, the dark/deep web, and proprietary platforms, maintaining quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Collect data on IOCs, threat campaigns
  • Lead efforts in analyzing intelligence to identify emerging trends, adversaries, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) affecting the collections industry.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, providing training on advanced tools, techniques, and methodologies in threat intelligence.
  • Promote collaboration and ensure the team maintains a high level of motivation and productivity.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide career development opportunities, and ensure high employee engagement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, to prioritize intelligence needs and allocate appropriate resources and tools to refine collection strategies.
  • Produce actionable threat intelligence reports and presentations for senior management, outlining relevant threats and recommended mitigation strategies.
  • Represent the collections team in cross-functional meetings to provide expert insights on threat intelligence and associated risks.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of threat intelligence platforms, adjusting processes to optimize operational performance.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate potential risks related to the collections ecosystem and the broader threat landscape.

Qualifications

- "Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of experience in Threat Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or Information Security roles, with at least a year in a leadership position.
- Experience in an intelligence environment with expertise in Operational Security.
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, threat actors, adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and how they apply to collections operations.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong proficiency in using intelligence collection tools and software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in producing clear and actionable intelligence reports.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing threat intelligence operations, including collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Adaptable and resilient under pressure.
- Ability to produce superior work while meeting aggressive deadlines
- Ability to quickly adapt and innovate.
