Position: Purchasing Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase clothing raw materials such as fabrics, threads, trims, accessories, and packaging items.
  • Identify reliable vendors and negotiate prices, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, vendor lists, and material specifications.
  • Coordinate with the production and merchandising team to understand material requirements.
  • Track inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials for production.
  • Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery and resolve any quality or quantity issues.
  • Evaluate new suppliers and support the development of cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Ensure all purchases follow company policies and quality guidelines.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in purchasing garments/clothing raw materials.
  • Basic understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment accessories.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain vendor relationships.
  • Strong follow-up skills and detail-oriented approach.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic documentation.

Education:

  • Graduate in any stream (Preferably supply chain, textile, or related field).
