We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in Purchasing and Inventory Management to provide functional support during night shifts. This is a remote, freelance opportunity with a US-based organization, ideal for professionals who can independently manage SAP MM tickets, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless procurement and inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and resolve SAP MM (Purchasing & Inventory Management) tickets within defined SLAs.
  • Perform configuration and support for procurement cycles, goods receipt, stock transfers, and inventory valuation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, PP, BASIS) for issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Monitor MM workflows, purchase orders, and inventory postings for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of solutions, processes, and system enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM with a focus on Purchasing and Inventory Management.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement cycles, stock management, and material master data.
  • Experience supporting global SAP environments and handling production tickets.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts (9 PM – 9 AM IST).
