Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic B2B sales plans to drive revenue growth in the custom plastic manufacturing and engineering services segment. This role requires a technical sales professional with a proven track record of acquiring new OEM accounts and managing key client relationships in industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Sales & Business Development

  2. Identify and target new OEM clients in core industries (Electrical, Automotive, Marine, Engineering) requiring custom plastic molded components.

  3. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate new markets and achieve ambitious sales and profitability targets.
  4. Manage the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation and technical consultation to quotation, negotiation, and contract closure.
  5. Utilize CRM software to maintain a robust pipeline, track sales activities, and provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management.

  6. Technical Consultation & Client Relationship Management

  7. Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.

  8. Conduct technical sales presentations and effectively communicate Thriams manufacturing capabilities (Injection Molding, Compression Molding, Tooling) to customer engineering and procurement teams.
  9. Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Production teams to translate customer specifications and technical requirements into viable manufacturing solutions.
  10. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of any commercial or technical issues.

  11. Market Analysis & Leadership

  12. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the industrial plastics and OEM space.

  13. Contribute to the development of new service offerings and marketing strategies based on customer needs and market demand.
  14. (If applicable) Manage and mentor a small team of Sales Executives or Business Development staff.
