Job Title: Assistant Manager Sales & Merchandising

Function: Sales Support / Customer Service / Merchandising

Reports To: Head – Sales & Merchandising

About the Role

We are hiring an Assistant Manager – Sales & Merchandising to manage customer relationships, coordinate with production teams, and ensure seamless execution of orders in Schiffli embroidery. This role requires balancing sales support, order planning, approvals, and production coordination — ensuring customers receive the right quality, on time, every time.

Experience in the textile industry is a must — preferably in:

  • Schiffli Embroidery
  • Fabrics Manufacturing
  • Dyed Fabrics Manufacturing
  • Knits Manufacturing
  • Fabric Export House

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Account Management:

  • Handle all customer enquiries related to sampling, orders, costs, and delivery timelines.

  • Obtain and maintain approvals for designs, shades, colours, and threads.

  • Follow up with customers on POs and payments.

  • Sales & Closure Support:

  • Support Sales Head during customer closure meetings.

  • Plan and schedule customer visits, discussions, and sample reviews.

  • Merchandising & Order Coordination:

  • Translate customer requirements into actionable plans for sampling and production.

  • Coordinate with production heads for planning yarn, fabric, machines, quality checks, and dispatches.

  • Track progress using Enquiry-to-PO and PO-to-Delivery trackers.

  • Problem-Solving & Documentation:

  • Address disputes in coordination with production and management.

  • Document technical challenges and solutions in the digital library.
