Roles Responsibilities:

  • Planning:

  • Develop and maintain material requirement plans based on production forecasts, service needs, and inventory targets.

  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust planning parameters to optimize stock availability and minimize excess inventory.

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and service teams to align material availability with operational needs.

  • Buying & Inventory Management:

  • Overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum, Oracle and Digital Cockpit expert

  • Execute purchase orders for raw materials, components, in line with PSI & Service order requirements.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.

  • Track order status and expedite deliveries to avoid production delays.

  • Work on NPI Materials planning based on NPI execution timelines to meet organization goals.

  •  Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) & minimize obsolete material

  • Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)

  • Review parts availability for rolling 3 months & maintain healthy DOH inventory for production purpose.

  • Ensure systemic stock accuracy wrt Physical Part by conducting frequent cycle counts.

  • Supplier Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.

  • Resolve issues related to Logistics, Customs Clearance, delivery discrepancies, quality concerns, and invoice mismatches.

  • Systems & Reporting:

  • Use ERP systems like Oracle, ASCP to manage planning and procurement activities.

  • Generate reports on inventory status, purchase order tracking, and supplier performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering Streams.

  • 3–5 years of experience in materials planning and procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or healthcare technology environment.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and inventory optimization principles is a plus.

  • APICS Certification & Green Belt Certification
