Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Cutlist
Specialist to join our interior design team. This role involves analyzing design specifications, preparing accurate cutlists, and coordinating with the production team to ensure efficient material usage. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of woodworking, excellent mathematical skills, and experience in optimizing material consumption to reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review design drawings and specifications to determine material requirements.
• Prepare precise cutlists, ensuring accuracy in material dimensions and quantities.
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to align cutlists with project needs.
• Optimize material usage to minimize waste and control costs.
• Maintain accurate records of material inventory, usage, and procurement needs.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required materials.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards in material selection and cutting processes.
• Utilize relevant software, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Pytha, imos, and Cabinet Vision, for preparing and managing cutlists.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance workflow efficiency and material management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma in woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or interior design is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, interior design, or a related field.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills to determine accurate material dimensions and quantities.
• Solid understanding of woodworking techniques, material properties, and cutting processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Pytha, imos, and Cabinet Vision) and spreadsheet tools (Microsoft Excel).
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multiple teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
