Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and quality standards of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff including receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching goods.
  • Ensure all goods are received, stored, and shipped according to company standards and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.
  • Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse employees to improve performance and productivity.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times.
  • Address issues such as shortages, damages, and returns promptly.
  • Monitor use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum [3–5] years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory control systems.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
