Role Summary :Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop and finalize reports requirements for internal and external stakeholders as per the business needs
  • Work with the business analyst to identify key business objective, articulate, apply right analytical framework, develop solution and recommendations, represent findings to stakeholders and own the outcome
  • Analyze and identify the root cause and recommend solutions/improvements to overcome it
  • Support various aspects of requirements including testing the outputs to ensure minimal or no production defects and complete analysis of the results tying back to customer needs/impacts.
  • Other job responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Education Required
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Must Have:
  • 3-6 years of experience as a SAS Administrator with a focus on SAS Grid and SAS Viya maintenance and support on Unix/Linux.
  • Good knowledge on various version of SAS Grid and SAS Viya Architectures.
  • To possess deep knowledge of SAS 9.4 Grid Administration with SAS applications and SAS servers.
  • Deep knowledge on SAS Grid and SAS Viya architecture and server tier components.
  • Strong knowledge on Shell scripting or python scripting.
  • Hands on experience on LSF is must.
  • To have experience in License Renewal and Applying Hotfixes.
  • To monitor and troubleshoot the environment for any Production issues or maintenance.
  • Candidates need to have experience in Unix/Linux Platform, includes basic commands for SAS and LSF monitoring and Unix Scripting.
  • Good to have the experience on installation and configuration.
  • Strong hands-on experience on Linux servers is a MUST.
  • Experience on working with multi-tier or multi-tenant SAS architecture is a MUST.
  • Experience on various SAS client/tools like SAS EG, SMC, DM Studio.
  • Should have good understanding on LSF Flow Manager.
  • Experience on working with Mid-Tier SAS Applications.
  • Should have experience on monitoring the sas environments
Good to Have:
  • Knowledge on US Healthcare industry knowledge and trends
  • Knowledge on other reporting tools would be a plus
  • Ability to Translate SAS code into requirements
