Job Title: Java Developer (UPI)

Experience: 3-4 years.

Job Summary:

Skilled Java Developer with strong experience in UPI (Unified Payments Interface) or banking/payment systems integration. The candidate should have hands-on experience in developing secure, high-performance financial transaction systems using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain UPI-based payment applications and services using Java and Spring Boot.

Implement and integrate UPI APIs as per NPCI guidelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Bank, QA, Infra, and Support) to deliver secure and robust UPI functionalities.

Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs, and implement permanent fixes.

Ensure end-to-end compliance with NPCI standards and regulatory requirements.

Participate in performance tuning and optimization of payment services.

Support production deployment, monitoring, and post-go-live stabilization.

Maintain proper documentation for development, configuration, and version control.

Ensure compliance with RBI, NPCI, and data security guidelines (PCI DSS, ISO 8583, etc.)

Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and documentation.

Enhancement to existing interfaces

Maintain and extend current applications

Client interfacing, team guidance

Customer support

Required Skills and Experience:

Core Java 8+/17+

Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA

Experience with UPI / Payment Gateway Integration / NPCI systems

Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and secure communication protocols (SSL/TLS).

Good exposure to databases like Oracle, MS-Sql, MySQl

Build Tools: Gradle

Good to Have knowledge of Microservices architecture

Good exposure to application-server/webserver like tomcat, JBoss

Good Analytical and problem-solving skills,

Good communication skills,

Good team player

Flexible to work in shifts and ready to travel across Infrasoft Tech locations

Educational Qualification:

Bachelors degree or more in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certification in payment systems or UPI domain (if any) would be an added advantage.
