Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 7+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Kafka, and deployment processes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
  • Build and maintain microservices-based architecture for scalable solutions.
  • Integrate and work with Apache Kafka for event-driven communication.
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end and other services.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for application deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring in cloud/on-prem environments.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8+).
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in Microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka for messaging/event streaming.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Optional / Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
  • Understanding of unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito.
