Job Description Financial Controller

Position Title: Financial Controller

Location: Bangalore

Experience Required: 5–7 years post-CA (Manufacturing industry preferred)

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller with strong expertise in financial reporting, costing, and statutory compliance. The role will oversee core finance functions, including Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), audit management, and financial planning. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth experience from the manufacturing industry, proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel, and strong analytical and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit & Compliance

  • Lead and ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end audit closures.

  • Oversee statutory compliance, taxation, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Financial Operations

  • Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.

  • Drive costing, margin analysis, and prepare accurate financial reports.

  • Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to company policies.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for cost optimization.

  • Partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, supply chain, and business units to align financial goals.

  • Act as a finance business partner to drive performance improvement initiatives.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Qualified CA with 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Analysis and Controlling.
  • Strong background in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
  • Expertise in costing, margin analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
