About the Role

ARN Exim, one of India's leading apparel manufacturer and a trusted supplier to leading fashion brands, is hiring a Senior Merchandiser to manage end-to-end apparel merchandising across key brands and marketplaces. This is a high-ownership, buyer-facing role responsible for driving seamless execution from sampling and costing to bulk production and dispatch.

The role is ideal for experienced merchandisers who understand factory operations, timelines, quality standards, and buyer expectations in a high-volume garment manufacturing environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end merchandising from sampling to bulk production and shipment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, managing approvals and communication
  • Prepare cost sheets, negotiate prices, and ensure margin adherence
  • Own TNA calendars and ensure on-time delivery of all assigned orders
  • Coordinate closely with production, PPC, sourcing, QA, and stores teams
  • Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards and AQL norms (1.0 / 2.5 / 4.0)
  • Track sampling, fabric, trims, and production status across styles
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks related to delays, quality, or approvals
  • Ability to independently manage multiple styles, buyers, and production timelines
  • Prior experience coordinating with production, PPC, QA, sourcing, and stores team
  • Maintain accurate buyer documentation and order records
  • Guide junior merchandisers and enforce process discipline

Candidate Profile

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in apparel merchandising within an established garment manufacturing unit
  • Strong exposure to domestic fashion brands / marketplaces (e.g., Myntra, Aditya Birla Group, Arvind, Reliance, Lifestyle, etc)
  • Solid understanding of woven and knit garments, fabrics, trims, and production processes
  • Experience working with TNA calendars, costing, buyer approvals, and quality standards
  • Hands-on experience in costing, TNA management, and buyer coordination
  • Very important: Strong follow-up, communication, and problem-solving skills. The candidate should have excellent communication skills in written and verbal English.
