Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research and optimize website content accordingly.
  • Perform on-page optimization including meta tags, headers, internal linking, image optimization, and content formatting.
  • Execute off-page strategies including backlink building, outreach, guest posting, and directory submissions.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
  • Generate monthly SEO reports and provide actionable insights to improve rankings and traffic.
  • Collaborate with content writers and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
  • Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms and digital marketing trends.
  • Conduct regular SEO audits and make technical recommendations to enhance site performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven SEO experience (freelance, internship, or in-house/agency).
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (like WordPress).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Analytics / Google Ads / HubSpot / Yoast SEO certifications.
  • Experience with local SEO and eCommerce SEO.
  • Basic understanding of content marketing and social media optimization.
