Job Title: Packaging Development Manager

Experience: 6–7 Years

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Packaging Expert with deep experience in skin care and cosmetics to lead the design, development, and innovation of packaging solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical know-how, aesthetic sensibility, and sustainability focus to deliver packaging that enhances brand appeal, ensures product safety, and aligns with market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the end-to-end packaging development for new and existing products, from concept to production.

· Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure packaging feasibility and compliance.

· Drive innovative packaging concepts, including formats, materials, and finishes, tailored for skin care and cosmetics.

· Ensure packaging meets regulatory standards, quality benchmarks, and shelf-life requirements.

· Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and packaging materials for cost, sustainability, and performance.

· Conduct market research on global and local packaging trends, including consumer preferences and competitor benchmarking.

· Optimize packaging for D2C, retail, and e-commerce channels, balancing aesthetics and logistics efficiency.

· Implement sustainability initiatives, including recyclable, refillable, or eco-friendly packaging solutions.

Key Requirements:

· Proven experience in FMCG, beauty, or cosmetics packaging (preferably skincare).

· Strong knowledge of packaging materials, printing techniques, and compliance standards.

· Have contacts or should be able develop direct contacts with import from outside India. Should know the full process and nuances of the trade.

· Creative mindset with ability to translate brand vision into packaging design.

· Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

· Awareness of current trends in sustainable and innovative packaging.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Degree in Packaging Engineering, Design, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹45,000.00 per month
