About the Role:

We are seeking a CI/CD Champion to take ownership of our software delivery pipeline. In this role, you will drive the automation and streamlining of our build, test, and deployment processes. You'll work closely with developers, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure high-quality software is delivered quickly, reliably, and securely. If you're passionate about automating everything, eliminating bottlenecks, and enabling faster innovationthis role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Production).
  • Lead initiatives to optimize build, test, and deployment processes to improve developer productivity and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to integrate automated testing into the pipeline (unit, integration, performance, security).
  • Develop custom tooling and automation scripts to support CI/CD workflows.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve pipeline reliability and performance.
  • Champion best practices for code quality, deployment strategies, and rollback plans.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools to enhance the CI/CD ecosystem.
  • Document processes and conduct training for engineering teams on CI/CD usage and best practices.
  • Ensure that CI/CD processes adhere to compliance, security, and audit standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience deploying to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Exposure to service mesh, API gateways, or microservices environments.
  • Experience with Canary, Blue-Green, or Rolling deployment strategies.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Experience in regulated industries or environments with strict compliance requirements (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, SOC2).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
