This role requires you to develop and enhance our Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance systems using SmartCOMM technology. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing customer communications solutions ensuring they effectively integrate with our core insurance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and developers to design technical solutions. Develop high-quality SmartCOMM templates and solutions
• Work closely with the Guidewire integration teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration with upstream and downstream systems
• Develop and configure SmartCOMM templates, data models, and document properties. Customize SmartCOMM solutions to meet the specific needs of P&C insurance projects.
• Utilize SmartCOMM APIs for data modelling and template selection, ensuring effective communication flow
• Maintain and enhance existing SmartCOMM applications, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing technical support.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on solution design, development processes, and integration techniques.

Requirements

• 5+ Years experience in SmartCOMM
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with other CCM (Customer Communications Management) platforms
• Project management experience in Agile environments
• Experience in Draft Editor
• Strong scripting background
• Setting up and working with SmartCOMM Appliance
• Previews and generating outputs using SmartCOMM API
• Experience in Dynamic data import
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Strong knowledge on creation of data models based on the provided requirements.
• Strong knowledge of dependency management tools such as Maven/Gradle.
• Strong knowledge on Clean Architecture and Clean code practices
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent understanding of system development methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive mindset to learn new technologies.
