Industry & Sector: International development and consulting - delivering policy advice, program design, monitoring & evaluation, and capacity-building services to governments, multilateral organizations, and NGOs across health, education, livelihoods, governance and humanitarian response.

About the Opportunity

We are hiring an Associate Director in Development Consulting to lead high-impact, donor-funded programs from concept through delivery. This senior role owns technical leadership, partner engagement, and delivery quality across multi-sector portfolios, ensuring programs meet rigorous evidence, compliance and results requirements while scaling measurable impact.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead design and quality assurance of multi-sector development programs, including theory of change, logframes and implementation plans.
  • Manage donor proposal development and reporting processes to meet compliance, budgeting and results reporting standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to country teams and partners; build capacity, set delivery standards and mentor senior staff.
  • Oversee project budgets, financial forecasting and grant management to ensure fiduciary integrity and cost-effective delivery.
  • Direct monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) frameworks; oversee data collection, analysis and evidence synthesis to inform adaptive management.
  • Represent the organisation with donors, government stakeholders and consortium partners; drive stakeholder alignment and partnership strategies.

Additional Qualifications
  • Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering donor-funded programs to measurable impact.
  • Advanced degree in international development, public policy, economics or related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
