About the Role:
- We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (Assistant Manager) to drive business growth in the logistics and trucking sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in client acquisition, relationship management, and field sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard new clients requiring trucking and logistics services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, transporters, and fleet owners.
- Understand customer needs and offer customized logistics solutions.
- Collaborate with operations and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and business development targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Conduct regular field visits and client meetings within the assigned region.
Qualifications:
- Experience : 4-9 years in Business Development / Field Sales (preferably logistics, transportation, or B2B service industries).
- Preferred Background: Candidates from logistics platforms.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Target-driven, energetic, and proactive in approach.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel locally as per business requirements.
