Job Title: Floor Supervisor – Metal Forming / Stamping

Experience: 3 to 5 years in production operations

Reporting to: Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Production Management

Oversee day-to-day production activities on the shop floor

Inspect and monitor machines, dies/molds, and tools

Ensure shift-wise production targets are achieved

Team Management

Allocate tasks to shop floor workers and supervise their work

Motivate team members and maintain discipline

Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols

Technical Knowledge

Monitor die/mold condition and coordinate timely changes

Identify technical issues and ensure quick resolution

Routine Maintenance

Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of machines

Report breakdowns or malfunctions immediately

Quality & Reporting

Ensure production meets required quality standards

Maintain shift reports, production logs, and machine status records

Required Qualifications:

3–5 years of hands-on experience in metal forming/stamping shop floor operations

Good knowledge of dies, molds, and production machinery

Ability to manage teams and perform basic reporting

Understanding of quality and safety standards

Preferred Attributes:

Communication skills in Hindi and Marathi

Experience with systems like BIS will be an added advantage
