Roles & Responsibilities

  • Managing accounting record-keeping systems, and procedures for tracking and reporting, including recommending remedial measures
  • Responsible for liaising with various departments to obtain the required information for book closure
  • Preparing varied financial reports (including ad hoc reports) that require selection, preparation, and interpretation of data
  • Understanding and upkeep of various financial compliances and accounts processes, by liaising with the internal team and external finance stakeholders, including accountants, auditors, CA, etc.
  • Ensure all reconciliations pertaining to books of accounts are completed in due time.
  • Coordinating with auditors for timely closure of audit
  • Monthly GST and TDS filings
  • Preparation of monthly ITC reconciliation

Requirement

  • Educational or professional experience in finance or commerce
  • Sound financial and accounting concepts understanding
  • Expertise in Tally and Excel
  • Strong English communication skills
  • CA/CA inter pass with 1-2 years experience post qualification/ Articleship.
  • Prior experience in a CA firm/startup in the accounting/audit team
