Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Business Development Executive to join our sales team.
The role involves engaging with prospective learners, understanding their goals, and recommending the right upskilling programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consultative sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to consistently achieve revenue targets.
You will also contribute to process improvement, mentor junior team members, and play a pivotal role in overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with potential learners via calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Understand customer needs, preferences, and career goals to recommend appropriate learning programs.
- Present program details effectively, addressing queries and handling objections professionally.
- Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead qualification to closure.
- Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions and progress in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitor products.
- Support and mentor junior executives to help them achieve performance benchmarks.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of proven experience in inside sales or business development (EdTech experience preferred).
- Strong command over spoken and written communication.
- Excellent presentation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle a consultative, goal-oriented sales process.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
- High level of motivation, ownership, and target-driven approach.
