Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a leading management consulting firm is looking for a Data Scientist with strong experience in Procurement and Supply Chain within the Pharma or Consumer Goods industry. The role focuses on developing AI/ML solutions to improve forecasting, sourcing, supplier performance, and end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Build predictive and prescriptive ML models for demand forecasting, supplier risk, inventory optimization, and cost reduction.
- Analyze procurement spend, category performance, and supply chain KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with procurement, supply chain, finance, and digital teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.
- Develop dashboards, automate insights, and deploy models into production environments.
- Integrate data from ERP/procurement systems and ensure model accuracy, governance, and usability.
Skills Required
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, ML frameworks, forecasting, optimization, and NLP/GenAI.
- Experience with procurement/supply chain analytics in Pharma or Consumer Goods.
- Knowledge of ERP and procurement tools (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, etc.).
- Strong business acumen, data storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience deploying AI/ML models in real-world environments.
