Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Junior Animator specializing in Unreal Engine 5. The Junior Animator will be responsible for creating and implementing animations, utilizing motion capture technology, storyboarding, and developing motion graphics. The role requires daily collaboration with the design and development teams to ensure cohesive and high-quality animations.

We are looking for a
Junior Animator (0–2 years of experience)
to join our creative team and bring
characters and objects
to life in
Unreal Engine 5
.

What You'll Do:

  • Animate
    characters, props, and objects
    for real-time environments.
  • Work with motion capture data using
    Rokoko Animation Suite
    .
  • Refine and polish
    animations
    in
    Blender
    before integrating into UE5.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to create engaging animations that enhance storytelling.

What We're Looking For:

  • Good understanding of
    animation principles
    for characters and objects.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of
    Unreal Engine 5, Blender
    and
    Rokoko
    .
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Passion for
    animation
    in games and real-time projects.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Animation and Motion Capture
  • Experience in Storyboarding and Motion Graphics
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 is highly beneficial
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
