About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our web applications and services.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites for web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases.
• Lead efforts in identifying test automation opportunities and implementing solutions to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation and application defects.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Drive adoption of best practices in test automation, including TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Explore and integrate AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance QA automation capabilities.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Minimum 6+ years in software engineering or test automation roles.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, JUnit, etc.
• Hands-on experience in the video streaming domain with technologies like DASH, HLS, MPEG-4, WideVine, FairPlay.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, HTML5, CSS, and web fundamentals.
• Familiarity with TDD/BDD paradigms and AI for QA automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals including operating systems, algorithms, data structures, and databases.
• Passion for leveraging automation to improve product quality and development velocity.
• Proven experience working on large-scale web applications hosted on cloud platforms.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in Generative AI tools and technologies, either professionally or personally.
