Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Cosmetic Formulation Specialist to develop and optimize skincare, haircare, and personal care formulations. The role involves ingredient research, stability testing, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market.

Qualifications:

Bachelors/Master's in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop new formulation (including active base, surfactant systems, leave on system, rinse off formulations, API etc.) and test new formulations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, develop and test formulations for product stability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analysis on Lab test results, identification of improvements areas in composition for better efficacy
  • Must have experience in conducting end to end internal R&D and managing external suppliers/manufacturers.
  • Analysis/testing for Personal care products on Derma Lab Instrument and Dia-Stron for Skin and Hair Analysis
  • Optimize formulations for performance, cost, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and production teams.
  • Should have experience on complete skincare & haircare range of segments (Ex- Sunscreens, Face washes, facial serums, Hair Oils, Shampoos, Hair Serum and others)
  • Should have strong knowledge on USFDA & EU regulatory products for Rx, Complex active ingredients, Modern Trade, General Trade & others.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging ingredients.
  • Atleast 10 years of experience in cosmetic formulation & managing product lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of raw materials, emulsions, and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
