Job Overview

We are seeking a   Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Microservices Cloud Commerce (MCCS) payment gateway technology and banking integrations . The ideal candidate will have   hands-on experience implementing MCCS solutions for banks, payment processors, and merchant acquirers , with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for C-level executives. This role requires a unique blend of   technical payment gateway expertise, banking domain knowledge, and exceptional executive communication skills .

Key Responsibilities

1. Oracle MCCS Payment Gateway & Banking Expertise

2. Banking System Integrations :

- Design and optimize MCCS integrations with   core banking systems, card networks (Visa/Mastercard), and ACH/RTP rails

- Implement   real-time payment processing  between MCCS and bank settlement systems

- Configure   regulatory compliance features  (Reg E, NACHA, PSD2/SCA) for banking clients

• Merchant & Acquiring Solutions :

- Architect   bank-sponsored merchant onboarding flows  within MCCS

- Optimize   interchange and network fee structures  for bank-owned payment programs

- Implement   bank-grade fraud controls  (AML, KYC, transaction monitoring)

1. C-Level Advisory & Communication

2. Executive Stakeholder Management :

- Present complex technical solutions to   CFOs, and COOs  with clear business impact analysis

- Develop   C level presentations  translating MCCS capabilities into revenue growth and risk reduction

- Mediate between   technical teams and business leaders  to align payment strategies

• Strategic Business Communication :

- Simplify technical concepts like   tokenization, ISO 8583 messaging, and network routing  for non-technical executives

- Facilitate   executive workshops  on payment transformation roadmaps

2. Payment Gateway Optimization :

- Design   multi-bank routing logic  for optimal authorization rates and cost efficiency

- Implement   bank-specific settlement workflows  and reconciliation processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years in payments technology , with   5+ years in banking/payment processor environments

• Proven Oracle MCCS implementation experience  for:

-   Any US banking experience  (retail/commercial banking payment systems)

-   Payment processors  (especially those servicing financial institutions)

• Exceptional Communication Skills :

- Track record of   presenting to C-suite in banking/financial services

- Ability to   write polished executive briefs and board memos

- Experience   mediating between technical teams and business leaders

• Technical Banking Payments Knowledge :

- Core banking integrations (Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry)

- Card management systems (TSYS, First Data)

- Real-time payments (RTP, FedNow, SEPA)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Former banker or payment processor  who transitioned to consulting

• Ex-Big 4 or management consultant  with banking/payments specialization

• Oracle MCCS certified  professional with live implementations

• NYC-based  with ability to meet clients in person
