Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in technical sales or application engineering, preferably in the electronics or semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle sales of electronic components and semiconductor products in assigned territory
  • Interact with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide appropriate solutions
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demos
  • Generate new leads and convert them into business opportunities
  • Coordinate with product teams for customized solutions and post-sales support
  • Maintain relationships with OEMs, design engineers, and procurement teams

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge in:
  • Semiconductors (Microcontrollers, Sensors, Analog/Digital ICs, Power Electronics)
  • Embedded systems and basic circuit design
  • Understanding of PCB layouts and testing tools (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  • Experience in B2B sales / field sales / technical support / application engineering
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Self-driven with a passion for technology and solution selling

Qualifications:

B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or related discipline

Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the electronics/semiconductor field

Preferred Industry Background:

  • Semiconductor distributors
  • Electronics components sales
  • Electronic product companies (OEMs/EMS)
  • Technical marketing/application support in electronics domain
