Odoo Functional

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Odoo Functional Consultant with 3–3.5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Odoo ERP solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge across multiple Odoo modules and business domains, excellent client interaction skills, and the ability to manage end-to-end functional responsibilities independently.

This role involves close collaboration with clients and technical teams to deliver customized Odoo implementations that optimize business processes and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:1. Project Implementation & Configuration

• Manage the end-to-end implementation of Odoo ERP projects, from requirement gathering to go-live.
• Configure and customize Odoo modules based on client business processes and needs.
• Configure, customize, and deploy a wide range of Odoo modules including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, Manufacturing, HR, and many more to streamline business operations.
• Analyze and map business processes to Odoo functionalities and provide optimized process solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and deploy custom features, reports, and integrations.

2. Client Management & Communication

• Act as the primary functional contact for assigned clients and projects.
• Conduct workshops, demos, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure project progress and satisfaction.
• Manage client expectations and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

3. Documentation & Testing

• Prepare detailed documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and user manuals.
• Conduct functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure the solution meets defined business requirements.
• Identify, log, and coordinate the resolution of bugs or enhancement requests.

4. Training & User Support

• Deliver end-user training sessions and develop user guides and process documentation.
• Support clients during go-live and post-implementation stages.
• Assist in optimizing system usage through process improvements and continuous functional support.

5. Data Migration & Integration

• Supervise data migration activities including data extraction, validation, transformation, and loading into Odoo.
• Coordinate with technical teams for integrations with third-party systems such as payment gateways, websites, and external APIs.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of migrated data.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on latest Odoo releases, new modules, and industry best practices.
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and mentor junior consultants.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and Odoo implementations.

Must Have:

• 3–3.5 years of hands-on Odoo functional consulting experience
• Strong understanding of business processes across Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, Manufacturing, HR, and many more modules, covering end-to-end business operations.
• Proven experience handling end-to-end Odoo implementations
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage client relationships
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel or work at client locations when required

Good to Have:

• Experience with Odoo Enterprise and Community editions
• Exposure to industry domains such as Manufacturing, Trading, Retail, and Services
• Understanding of basic technical aspects (models, views, workflows, and API integrations)
• Odoo Functional Certification (added advantage)
• Experience in data migration tools and functional testing

Pay: Up to ₹46,411.94 per month
