Role Overview – Accounts Associate & Junior Accountant

We are seeking an Accounts Associate with strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in bookkeeping and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should be familiar with cloud-based accounting software and capable of supporting end-to-end accounting processes for Australian clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for assigned clients
  • Perform bank, credit card, and ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Work with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, HandiSoft, and QuickBooks
  • Support Australian compliance tasks including BAS, IAS, payroll (training provided if required)
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Coordinate with internal teams and assist in resolving accounting queries
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams when required
  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • B.Com / M.Com
  • 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience in Xero, HandiSoft, and QuickBooks (added advantage)
  • Prior experience in Australian accounting is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
