Senior Manager- JLR closing

Role & responsibilities

The role of Senior Finance Analyst comes with responsibility for supporting the closing process at JLR. This involves working closely with JLR controllership team, TML group controls team and all NSCs of JLR. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Closing personnel to work as a key liaison between Group controlling team and the JLR UK finance team along with all NSCs. This role involves supporting the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes, collaborating closely with the TML Group Controlling team, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives specific to JLR requirements. - Coordinate with the JLR UK finance team to ensure smooth execution of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing activities. - Collaborate with the TML Group Controlling team to align on reporting and compliance requirements related to JLR. - Support preparation, consolidation, and review of financial statements and reports for JLR operations. - Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the financial closing process at JLR and propose actionable improvements. - Lead initiatives to introduce automation and digital solutions to streamline closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Maintain strong communication channels with all stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve issues promptly. - Ensure adherence to internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the closing process.

Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and support external/internal audit activities related to JLR

Preferred candidate profile

1. Functional Knowledge of Skills (Must Have) 1. Knowledge of financial instruments and their accounting treatment, accounting principles, IFRS and GAAP. 2. A strong grasp of the English language and great interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities are required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to cope within cross- functional team 3. Experience of using Data and Analytics tools - visualisation or coding tools such as Tableau, BIQuery, SQL, Python enthusiasm is required, experience isnt 4. Minimum 2 years recent experience, preferably in automobile industry 5. Experience in systems - SAP, 6. Professional Accounting qualification

5. Language Proficiency English Essential

6. Experience Required 3 to 4 years.
