Job Summary
Disha Academy is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive our expansion across Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities, building strong partnerships with schools, colleges, coaching classes, computer institutions & educational institutions, and ensuring consistent sales growth in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the education sector.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, coaching classes (under 10th), and other academic institutions.
* Conduct the D-SAT Scholarship Examination at partner schools.
* Implement "Topper Hunting" initiatives to identify and engage with meritorious students.
* Carry out data collection activities for lead generation and market insights.
* Organize and conduct Home Counseling sessions for students and parents.
* Plan, organize, and execute Career Guidance Seminars in assigned areas.
* Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
* Represent Disha Academy at education fairs, seminars, and local academic events.
Requirements
* Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.
* 2–3 years of experience in sales or business development (Education/EdTech background preferred).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
* Willingness to travel across assigned regions.
