  • Preparation/Finalization of submission before Assessing Officer and CIT(A).
  • Drafting Appeals for review by Partner/principal & attend hearing. Planning & coordinating with clients for obtaining necessary documents.
  • Assistance in representation before Appellate Forum including preparation of Paper Book and briefing counsel for hearing.
  • Research on various direct tax technical issue.
  • Representation before tax authorities as and when required.
  • Undertaking comprehensive reviews of business operations to identify tax planning opportunities as well as compliance gaps. Administer all direct tax processes and compliance, including corporate tax, transfer pricing, financials related certifications, withholding tax etc.
  • Supporting direct tax client engagement teams on technical queries.
  • Finalization of Income tax return and computation of income.
  • Preparation of tax alerts/ summary on recent direct tax judgments and other allied laws.
  • Research and assistance in preparation of research papers to formulate the firm's positions on direct tax transaction tax issues.
  • Research and assistance in writing technical articles for print and online media.
  • Research and drafting direct tax thought leadership publications
  • Preparation of standard checklists for direct tax.
  • Assisting on any other assignments from a direct tax perspective, as may be required.
