MGR I SIMULATION ENGINEERING

Job OverviewSupervises the simulation engineering team, coordinating projects and ensuring accurate and effective simulation processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Around 15 years of experience in the field of Simulation.
- Formulate strategy / road map for Simulation team.
- Manage a portfolio of new and on-going projects, using good project management skills.
- Evaluate mechanical, flow and thermal performance of product designs and processes.
- Develop new simulation methodologies as and when required to support product development.
- Drive innovation culture and ensure PID filings.
- Ensure capacity creation and continuous improvement in the team.
- Collaborate with local and global teams and achieve the goals of the Medical BU.
- Enhance participation of the team in TE conferences and represent Medical BU in various COIs.
- Sound knowledge on ANSYS workbench in Structural and Flow/Thermal simulations is a must.
- Knowledge on LS-Dyna, SIMIO or Moldex3D will be an added advantage.
- Should be able to create hand calculation to verify the designs.
- Achieve close correlation of Simulation & Experimental results.
- Highly motivated to be a good team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Culturally sensitive.
Generally requires Bachelor's degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Master's degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level.
