Role & responsibilities

  • Product Prioritization, strategic planning of FD products from filing till approvals in Emerging markets with focus currently on China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia & Brazil.
  • • Product Portfolio management which includes Therapeutic/ Market assessment, Potential opportunity Identification and Pruning of Generic FD Product Opportunities in Emerging markets with focus currently on China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia & Brazil.
  • Primary Responsibility
  • • Provide market competitive intelligence such as Scientific Review, Competition Mapping, Industry/Peer Benchmarking, Approvals, Life Cycle Tracking, Legal Updates, Investor/SEC Filings
  • • Preparation of Business Case/Forecasting, Product filing and Launch Calendar, and Project Cost Calculation with enhanced focus on South Korea, Japan, Indonesia & Brazil & maintaining the projects cost sheet
  • • IP Patent Litigation tracking, involving IP due diligence for the identified products for timely filing & market entry to identify early opportunities.
  • • New product screening, selection criteria, prioritizing, Launch planning, Identifying early market opportunities, and de-risking strategies
  • • Tracking USFDA/JP/CN NCEs, CDSCO updates along with various country RLD/ generic filings & approvals on a regular basis to understand early opportunities.
  • • Supporting to identify products for China South Korea, Japan, Indonesia & Brazil baskets for smooth filings.
  • • Tracking Tenders & Province wise Procurements list, Other incentivized drug schemes by various government regulatory bodies for opportunity identification & evaluating the risks markets
  • • Planning filing calendars & concerns along with new filing plan, deciding filing strategies based on early launch feasibilities
  • • Diligent tracking of projects through regular interactions with CFTs such as R&D, RA, IP, Clinical, Marketing & Plant
  • • Tracking of regulatory & IP updates in order to assess the impact & implement the same at the earliest to avoid surprises
  • • To be well versed with various patent databases including regional patent office databases and Paid databases such as IMS, Cortellius generics, IPD Analytics, Darts-Ip, Ark patent intelligence
