Role Overview

We are seeking a senior technology and operations leader to head our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Visakhapatnam. The ideal candidate has
hands-on experience in establishing GCCs
, scaling teams, managing global delivery, and
bringing GCC clients
across industries. The role involves leading the full GCC lifecycle—setup, transition, operations, expansion, and client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end GCC setup and operations.
  • Drive GCC growth, talent scale-up, and capability development.
  • Acquire and onboard new GCC clients; manage CXO-level relationships.
  • Ensure delivery excellence across engineering, cloud, data, QA, and support teams.
  • Oversee governance, compliance, performance metrics, and operational efficiency.
  • Build high-performing teams and manage multi-functional delivery units.
  • Implement best practices in engineering, security, DevOps, and project management.
  • Coordinate with internal leaders and global customers to ensure seamless execution.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of
    setting up GCCs or scaling existing ones
    .
  • Experience in
    winning GCC clients
    and handling global transitions.
  • Strong understanding of the
    total GCC lifecycle
    : Build → Transition → Stabilize → Scale.
  • Leadership experience managing 200–1000+ member teams.
  • Solid technical background in IT services, product engineering, cloud, data, and digital.
  • Strong client management, communication, and stakeholder-handling skills.
  • Ability to build teams, attract talent, and create high-performance culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Technology/Business.
  • Certifications in cloud, project management, or agile frameworks are an advantage.
